What I love most is how they've built clear brand personality guardrails that let their team get weird and at the same time stay on brand. That's what most brands miss when they try to replicate this creative freedom!
I love the fact that, unlike some other brands, the personality for this brand was developed and supported by a group of individuals. In many cases, the brand’s personality was the work of the social media manager who was left to their own devices on TimTok or IG for long enough to establish consistent style.
With Grillo, it looks like they manage to shape that via a “hive mind” approach which I think is good because it gives this brand longevity beyond that one hypothetical social media manager who might want to eventually move on.

yep, exactly!
They know who they are. Brand slam dunk.
Grillos featured me on their instagram one time and I'll NEVER forget. Grillos loyalist 4 LYFE.

We love Grillos! My son is like a walking unofficial spokesperson for all things pickles 😂
I freaking love Grillo’s
the best
Truly making social media “social” again!
yesss
I love this. My dad likes, comments and reposts everything I do. We’ll always be their babies. I also love Grillos pickles.
I just ate some Grillo's pickles and had zero idea of any of their social media presence. Guess I'm pretty unplugged but the pickles are great.
Best pickles I've ever had are from, believe it or not, Mark Wahlberg's company, but Grillo's pickles are up there.
‘Different songs from the same band.’ - so well phrased I keep repeating it!
Is Instagram just a feed of marketers marketing marketing to other marketers now?

I loved this interview, thanks, Rachel!
I love that you did this one for your Dad! What did he think?
